    I agree with the last commenter. Both parties are at fault in that case and BOTH are responsible for stopping anything from happening in that scenario.

    It is more likely for a male in this kind of situation to receive for backlash than a female because it is often the case that the man is the aggressor (if there is one). It's not that men always get blamed but that they are more likely to have controlled the situation and perhaps did commit sexual assault.
